Interpreting "Space"
Now, we don't exclusively mean outer space, though that is acceptable. What we really want to see is how you use space in your photos effectively. Is there intentional use of negative space? Is there absolutely no empty space? Does your image feel vast and open? All of these would fit within our theme!
You are highly encouraged to take this theme and run with it. An argument can be made that every photo is an intentional use of space in a frame. Submissions are open to everyone, and we encourage creativity and originality in how you approach the theme.
Submission Guidelines
Each photographer may submit up to three images for consideration by March 27th.
If your work is selected, we'll ask you to bring a physical print of your chosen piece to our store by April 13th. Printing requirements will be included in the selection email.
To make it easier, selected participants will receive a discount coupon for printing through our store.
Opening Night & Prizes
The exhibition will kick off with a gallery opening night on April 18th, where we'll celebrate your artistry with food, drinks, and a warm, welcoming community of photography enthusiasts.
At this opening night, attendees will cast their vote for first, second, and third place winners. Winners will be gifted fabulous prizes!
